KABUL: Afghanistan’s Taliban government has announced a plan to provide advanced education to members of its Tehreek-e-Taliban organization, according to which it has signed an agreement with a private university to provide education to members of the organization at discounted fees.
The Media and Information Center, an agency of the Afghan Ministry of Information, has published an advertisement in the Afghan media, which states that the Media and Information Center has signed an agreement with the private University Mashal to provide modern education to Taliban members.
The advertisement states that under the agreement, Mujahideen (Taliban members) of the Islamic Emirate will be provided with opportunities to get education at low fees in various fields.
According to the advertisement, under the agreement, the aspiring Taliban members will be offered courses in engineering, economics, political science, journalism and their interests.
