KHUSHAB: The former Prime Minister Imran Khan has said that the upcoming by-polls in Punjab is not just by-elections but it will decide the fate of the country. He claimed ‘Mr X’ has been stationed in Lahore to rig the upcoming by-elections. Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Chairman was addressing a rally in Khusahb on Friday.
By-elections on 20 vacant seats of the Punjab Assembly scheduled to be held on July 17.
Addressing a huge rally, Imran Khan has claimed Mr X has been stationed in Lahore to rig the upcoming by-elections for PLMN. However, he said he would not say who Mr. X was, implying people know who he is talking about.
He said that a man had performed rigging for PML-N in 2013 and they rewarded him, and made him the head of anti-corruption department.

Despite everything, Imran Khan vowed that they would defeat PML-N in the upcoming by-polls.
“I challenge you to lodge FIRs as many as you can,” Imran Khan said, “But the nation will never accept these rulers at any cost.”
The former premier asked the people of Khushab to promise him that they would defeat the turncoats in Punjab and take responsibility to get PTI victorious in the by-polls.
These turncoats use to fix the price of their consciences and commit treason against their nation, constitution and religion. This is not only the war of Imran Khan but a war of whole nation. This is jihad, not politics, he added.
Imran reiterated that the incumbent government is composed of corrupt who do not have the best interests of the country at heart.
He reiterated that the Sharif and Zardaris had never been honest in their lives and they have always told lies.
He blamed the United States for toppling an elected government of PTI in Pakistan with the support of ‘Mir Jafar and Mir Sadiq’ of the nation.
“Pakistani nation was humiliated by awarding the government to big dacoits.” He said.
Imran Khan further said those nations get doomed who give NRO to the big dacoits.
“A corrupt man has been made the head of the state. Will you accept Shehbaz Sharif and Hamza Shehbaz as your prime minister and chief minister? Will you accept Asif Ali Zardari and Fazlur Rehman as your ruler?” The participants of the PTI jalsa responded to Khan’s question by raising their voices to say negative.
The former premier censured the current rulers for torturing, threatening and jailing senior journalists including Ayaz Amir and Imran Riaz Khan just to spread fear and suppress voices against them.
“15 FIRs were lodged against me and terrorism cases were filed against my team. People are being threatened via unknown telephone calls.” The PTI chairman said.
Imran Khan vowed that PTI will make the future of Pakistan by fighting the war of real independence. The current rulers will never be accepted by the nation at any cost.
Nominating Pervaiz Elahi for CM was due to blackmailing
In a discussion session with a team of journalists held at Lahore’s Zaman Park on Friday, the former PM Imran Khan admitted nominating Chaudhry Pervaiz Elahi as the candidate for Punjab chief minister as a result of ‘blackmailing’. He said the decision caused rifts within PTI.
Imran Khan confessed small coalition partners used to blackmail his government. He conceded choosing Pervaiz Elahi as the candidate for the chief minister for Punjab was the result of such act.
