NEW DELHI: Not only Pakistanis are saddened by the death of Bilquis Edhi, wife of renowned social activist Abdus Sattar Edhi, but many people in India are also saddened.
In a message released on social networking site Twitter, renowned Indian journalist Sadhant shared a memorable photo of Bilquis Edhi with Geeta and Prime Minister Narendra Modi.

He wrote in the caption with the photo that this photo of Bilquis Edhi, Geeta and Prime Minister Modi was taken in 2015 in Delhi.
The Indian journalist said that Pakistani philanthropist Mrs Edhi had played a key role in the repatriation of Indian citizen Geeta.
He also wrote that after his death in Karachi, tributes are being paid to him from all over the world.

Indian journalist Sadhant also shared a photo of Geeta sitting with Abdul Sattar Edhi and Balqis Edhi.

It may be recalled that in the past, Bilqis Edhi had played an extraordinary role in the return of the deaf and dumb Geeta who came to Pakistan by mistake.
