QUETTA: The driver of a water tanker has been killed in a landmine blast in Nasirabad district in western Balochistan province.
According to details, a water tanker was also damaged in the blast in Nasirabad. As soon as the incident was reported, a heavy contingent of police reached the spot and started the investigation.
The sound of the explosion was heard far away. The body of the driver of the deceased water tanker has been shifted to Dera Murad Jamali Trauma Center. Authorities said that a preliminary investigation suggests the incident was the result of terrorism.

Terrorism has increased in Balochistan in recent times. It may be recalled that earlier a bomb blast took place in the Sibi area of Balochistan as a result of which 4 Frontier Corps personnel were martyred.
Four days ago today, a bomb attack on security forces in Sangan Tehsil of Sibi in Balochistan killed 4 FC personnel and seriously injured 6 others. The personnel was shifted to the hospital.
