Ukraine conflict: Russian army attack from three sides

KYIV: It has been reported that the Russian army has attacked the Ukrainian capital from all sides after the Russian invasion.

According to the international media, the Russian army has attacked from all sides of the Ukrainian capital Kyiv, after which fierce fighting is going on near the military base in the northwestern regions.

Russian media say that the Russian army has captured the Ukrainian city of Melitopolwithout any resistance. Earlier in the day, the Russian military seized control of the Chernobyl nuclear power plant, killing at least 137 people and wounding hundreds more.

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy said the Russian attack had killed 137 people and injured hundreds. In addition to US President Joe Biden imposing sanctions on Russia’s exports due to its invasion of Ukraine, the White House also announced export sanctions on Russia aimed at everything from commercial electronics and computers to aircraft parts.
