LAHORE: Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) spokesperson Maryam Aurangzeb has said that Leader of the Opposition in the National Assembly Shehbaz Sharif has once again fallen victim to coronavirus.
Maryam Aurangzeb said that doctors have advised Shehbaz Sharif to rest completely and the PML-N president is isolating himself at his residence. He appealed to the people, including party workers and leaders, to pray for his speedy recovery.
Earlier, in June 2020, the PML-N president tested positive for the coronavirus. On the other hand, the coronavirus test results of four politicians including Shah Zain Qureshi, son of Foreign Minister Shah Mehmood Qureshi, Chief Minister Gilgit-Baltistan, Provincial Minister Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, and PML-N leader have come positive.
Pakistan Muslim League-N leader Malik Ahmad Khan also contracted the coronavirus. Gilgit-Baltistan Chief Minister Khalid Khurshid and Foreign Minister’s son’s coronavirus test result also came positive.
It may be recalled that earlier due to increasing coronavirus cases in Islamabad, it was decided to seal nine more educational institutions for the purpose of controlling the virus. The city administration decided to close educational institutions to prevent coronavirus.
