ISLAMABAD: Prime Minister Imran Khan will pay a one-day visit to Lahore today for the inauguration of Knowledge Park University during which a briefing on mega projects will be given.
According to details, the prime minister will arrive in Lahore today for a one-day official visit during which he will meet Punjab Chief Minister Sardar Usman Buzdar.
CM Buzdar will give a briefing to the prime minister on the upcoming local body elections in Punjab. The election of Lord Mayor and Chairman will also be discussed during the election.

It should be noted that the PTI did not achieve a significant victory in the local body elections in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa. After the defeat in KPK, Punjab will be the focus, he asserted.
Buzdar will brief the prime minister about the meeting with the top leadership of PML-Q on the local body elections. PM Imran Khan will also be briefed on mega projects.
During his visit to Lahore, Prime Minister Imran Khan will also inaugurate Knowledge Park University, which aims to promote the education sector in the province.
