KARACHI: A young man has been injured in firing by unknown persons in the Korangi area.
According to details, gunmen opened fire near Chamra Chowrangi in Korangi, injuring a youth and no further casualties were reported in the incident. Rescue sources said that the youth injured in the firing has been shifted to the hospital for medical treatment.
Preliminary investigations did not determine the cause of the shooting. It may be recalled that earlier while trying to escape from Karachi police, two accused were injured in the accident while the police showed humane sympathy.
Last month, police saw two suspects riding a motorcycle near Numaish Chowrangi in Karachi and signaled them to stop, but both tried to flee the scene.
The suspects were involved in an accident while trying to escape. Police recovered weapons from both of them and shifted them to the hospital in critical condition.
