ISLAMABAD: At least 516 new cases of coronavirus have been reported in Pakistan while 13 more people have died of the virus in the last 24 hours.
According to figures released by the National Command and Operations Center (NCOC), a total of 1,270,322 people were infected with coronavirus across the country, while 28,405 civilians lost their lives to the virus.
During the last 24 hours, 38,430 tests were performed to diagnose coronavirus, bringing the total number of tests to 26,100,000. Nationwide, the coronavirus test result was 1.34 percent.
The highest number of 468,401 cases of coronavirus was reported in Sindh province, 439,450 in Punjab, 177,646 in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, 33,211 in Balochistan, and 166,777 in Islamabad.

In Azad Jammu and Kashmir, 34,450 cases of the coronavirus were reported while in Gilgit-Baltistan, 10,387 cases were reported. The number of active cases of coronavirus across the country has risen to 23,982. The highest number of deaths due to the virus was reported in Punjab province.
Coronavirus killed 12,902 people in Punjab, 7,555 in Sindh, 355 in Balochistan, 5,729 in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, 938 in Islamabad, 740 in Azad Kashmir, and 186 in Gilgit-Baltistan.
