Female students sexually abused in DG Khan institute

DERA GHAZI KHAN: A case was registered against an educational institute in Dera Ghazi Khan after videos of female students being sexually abused went viral.

The incident occurred in Al-Zahra Academy located in Block-7 which was allegedly being used to blackmail and sexually abuse girls coming to receive an education.

The academy’s principal Javed and a teacher named Mujahid Sangi were allegedly involved in the heinous activity of secretly recording the videos and spreading them on social media.

The case was registered after three suspects were identified. A police spokesman said that police has launched an investigation and sealed the institute after the videos circulating online.

Regional Police Officer (RPO) Faisal Rana has taken notice of the incident and ordered District Police Officer (DPO) Omar Saeed Malik to act against the suspects and submit a report. He also ordered an investigation of suspicious institutes in the city. He appealed to the citizens to provide evidence and cooperate with the police.

According to reports, a special team of police officers and IT experts has been formed under DSP City to verify the authenticity of the videos and investigate other related issues

The team would probe all aspects and determine the identity of the accused and victims. Police had also received complaints that some of the female victims were being blackmailed.

The police has been instructed to utilise latest technology in investigating the issue. Police has also been instructed to collect the required evidence and arrest the suspects.
