Four FC soldiers martyred, two injured in Balochistan attack

QUETTA: Four security personnel were martyred and two others were injured in an attack on a vehicle of the Frontier Corps in Harnai district of Balochistan.

According to reports, the Frontier Corps vehicle was targeted in the Safar Bash area of Khosat area. The outlawed Baloch Liberation Army claimed responsibility for the attack.

The paramilitary patrolling in the areas when their vehicle and when their vehicle was targetted with an improvised explosive device. As a result, four security personnel were martyred in the attack.

Security forces rushed to the scene of the attack and shifted the bodies and the injured to the nearby hospital. They were identified as Hussain Rehmat, Muh­ammad Saleem, Majid Fareed and Zakir. The injured were Captain Owais and Lieutenant Luqman.

In another incident, a terrorist was killed during an intelligence-based operation in Dosali area of North Waziristan.

According to the Inter-Services Public Relatons, a raid was conducted after security forces received news of the terrorist hideout. The suspect was shot dead during an exchange of fire.

The suspect has not been identified. A huge cache of explosives and weapons have been seized from his possession.
