RAWALPINDI: The Inter Services Public Relations (ISPR) department of the armed forces has said that nine terrorists were killed when security forces conducted a search operation in the Kohlu District of Balochistan.
In a statement released to media here on Saturday, the ISPR said a search operation was launched in the Kohlu district to apprehend terrorists involved in the September 30 Kholu bazar bomb blast which had left at least three dead and 19 injured.
During the search operation, security forces encountered a group of terrorists which resulted in heavy exchange of fire. During the gun battle, security forces shot dead nine militants and arrested three others in an injured condition.
Arms and ammunition were recovered from the terrorists, the ISPR added.
