Amid rising sexual violence in Punjab in the recent months, another case has been come to light, where a minor girl was raped and murdered.
As per details, the six-year-old Iman Fatima was abducted by the suspect, identified as Jhara, with the help of his mother, both buried the body in their home after raping killing the little girl.
The tragic disappearance of Iman Fatima initiated a frantic search by her family that lasted several days. Local resident Jhara was subsequently apprehended and confessed to the kidnapping, assault, and brutal murder of the young girl.
Following his confession, police recovered Iman’s body from the suspect’s residence. Authorities revealed that Jhara has a criminal history, having been previously jailed for theft and only recently released.
This horrific incident has sparked outrage among local residents, who are now demanding justice and calling for stricter measures to protect children from such violent crimes.
