PESHAWAR: At least four people lost their lives while 17 other injured due to heavy rain that lashed several parts across Khyber Pakhtunkhwa including Mardan, Peshawar and South Waziristan.
According to data released by Provincial Disaster Management Authority (PDMA), two children and a woman among four people lost their lives when roof of their houses collapsed due to heavy rains. The deaths took place in Mardan, Peshawar and South Waziristan. The PDMA said 17 people including 9 children and 2 women were injured in the same incidents.
Besides these, 3 cattle were perished, while some 6 houses were damaged in rain-related incidents.
