In Karachi, a truck carrying a load of sacrificial goats was targeted by robbers near Kamran Chowrangi. The incident took place within the jurisdiction of the Gulistan-e-Jauhar police station.
According to police reports, armed individuals on two motorcycles intercepted the truck, seizing control of it and the sacrificial goats. Over 30 of these animals were stolen during the robbery. Additionally, the assailants robbed the driver of his mobile phone and cash before fleeing the scene.
Abdul Manan, the merchant transporting the sacrificial goats, stated that they were en route from Hyderabad to Gulistan-e-Jauhar.
In response to a complaint lodged by the affected merchant, the police have initiated an investigation into the incident. Their efforts to locate and apprehend the suspects involved in the robbery are underway.
It should be noted that street crimes are at their peak in Karachi nowadays, and every day dozens of citizens fall prey to the lawlessness in the city. The worst aspect of these crimes is that the robbers not only deprive citizens of their valuables but sometimes also shoot and kill them.
