BARKHAN: Police have found three bullet riddled bodies including that of a woman and two men in a well in Barkhan district of Balochistan province. Locals said the bodies were found in a well of Haji Kot village of Barkhan district, and were spotted by local people of the area who informed the concerned authorities. A police team rushed to the site after receiving information about the presence of the bodies in a well.
Jamat-e-Islami’s Senator Mushtaq has alleged that the bodies were actually family members of Khan Muhammad Marri, who were allegedly held hostage in private jail of Sardar Abdur Rehman Kethran. Senator Mushtaq had been raising voice for their release since January this year.

Just a day earlier, All Pakistan Marri Ittehad had also staged protest demonstration, demanding release of the woman and her two sons.
On February 10, a video went viral purporting to show that a woman holding Quran was begging help, seeking her release from the captivity of Sardar Abdur Rehman Kethran. In the video, she can be seen alleging that the Sardar had also sexually assaulted her, and that her 14 years old daughter was still in the captivity of Abdur Rehman Kethran.
Local said bullet riddled body of same woman had now been found dumped in a well in Barkhan.
Police on the other hand said it seems that unknown people after killing three people, including a woman, threw the bodies in the well to hide their crime. Police added that an investigation is underway.
The incident is described as a triple murder and a local influence is accused of the brutality.
