KARACHI: Sindh government has decided to purchase additional 15 to 20 electric buses for Karachi.
Sohail Rajput, the chief secretary of Sindh, was talking to an Asian Development Bank delegation when they visited him in his office. The government decided to address the BRT Red Line project’s issues and expedite its completion.
According to the chief secretary of Sindh, the Pink Bus and Karachi’s People’s Bus projects have both been a success, and the Sindh government has now decided to buy 15 to 20 additional electric buses for the port city.
The Asian Development Bank delegation said that there is a problem with the transfer of land needed to build a biogas plant in Malir. Sohail Rajput reassured the delegation that he would give the project all the support it needs to succeed.
The chief secretary was informed about the installations of several departments including K-Electric and KWS&B on the project. Sohail Rajput assured the Asian Development Bank delegation of the transfer of all utility installations from the land of the project.
