GHOTKI: In yet another tragic incident during ongoing operation, two policemen lost their lives while four others including an SHO were injured due to the firing of robbers in Kandhkot’s Gahelpur Kacha area.
According to reports gathered by MM News from multiple local sources, the incident occurred when the police were setting up a new check post in the area, and the robbers suddenly opened fire on them.
As a result of the firing, two policemen, Sabir Ali and Ahad Ali Domki, were martyred on the spot, while four others, including SHO Bakhshapur Gul Muhammad Mehr, sustained injuries. The injured policemen are currently being shifted to Rahimyar Khan Hospital for medical treatment, while the martyred policemen are being taken to Kashmore Hospital.
Following the incident, a heavy police force from across the district has been dispatched to the Kacha area to ensure the safety and security of the citizens. The police have also launched an investigation to identify and apprehend the culprits behind this heinous crime.
