ISLAMABAD: The total number of deaths from coronavirus in Pakistan has reached 5,999 and 280,461 people have been affected while 249,397 patients recovered across the country.
According to the data released by the National Command and Operational Center, 15 people died of coronavirus while 432 new cases were reported in the past 24 hours.
As many as 139 new cases of coronavirus were reported during the last 24 hours across the province. Five more patients breathed their last in the last one day. Fifty-eight cases were reported from Lahore, 17 from Gujranwala, nine from Bahawalpur, eight from Faisalabad, and six from Rawalpindi.

The number of corona cases in the country is declining rapidly and the number of active cases is currently 25,065. During the last 24 hours, 10,690 tests were performed, taking the tally of COVID-19 tests conducted to 2,031,955 across the nation.
The number of coronavirus patients in Sindh has risen to 121,705, in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa 34,253. Balochistan has 11,777 patients, Islamabad 15,095, Azad Jammu and Kashmir 2,097, Gilgit-Baltistan 2,198, and Punjab 93,336.
The death toll from the coronavirus has risen to 2,153 in Punjab, 2,226 in Sindh, 1,208 in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, 167 in Islamabad, 136 in Balochistan, 54 in Azad Kashmir and 55 in Gilgit-Baltistan.
A gradual fall in coronavirus cases across the country could be reversed in the near future if people do not follow health precautions.
