KARACHI: At least 15 people, including women and children, Saturday were injured in a gas cylinder explosion in a residential apartment in Karachi’s Gulistan-e-Jauhar area.
As per details, the blast occurred due to gas leakage in a residential apartment near Rado Bakery that damaged three adjacent apartments. 15 people, including women and children, were injured in the accident.
Rescue crews and police arrived at the scene in the meantime, and they moved the injured patients to a neighboring private hospital and a government hospital to receive medical care. To gather the evidence, a crew from the Bomb Disposal Squad (BDS) has also arrived at the scene.
A gas cylinder explosion in Karachi’s Defense Housing Authority earlier in October resulted in one death and four injuries (DHA).
