14-year-old mentally challenged boy sexually assaulted in Rawalpindi

RAWALPINDI: A 14-year-old mentally challenged boy has been sexually assaulted in Dhok Hayat Khan area of ​​Gujjar Khan.

The medical report conducted in a hospital proved that teenager was sexually abused. The father of the victim named Mohammad Mursalin, a rickshaw driver by profession, said that his son is studying in a special education school as he is mentally handicapped.

He said that every morning he brings milk at home, but as he was not at home today, his son went to carry milk where a man named Ghulam Mustafa forcibly took his son inside in his house and abused the child.

He said that when he went reached home at 7:15 in the morning, his son did not come yet, “I did not find my son in the house and went to look for him in the neighborhood,” he maintained. He added that on his way, they saw accused Ghulam Mustafa’s house door opened and his son came out crying.

The father of the child said that when he inquired from the son, he told the father that Ghulam Mustafa had sexually assaulted him. The police sent the victim for a medical check-up that proved that he was abused sexually. A case has been registered against accused Ghulam Mustafa under Section 377.

The petitioner said that despite the registration of the case, the accused has not been arrested yet. The police said that the accused would be arrested soon and given exemplary punishment.
