KARACHI: As many as 14 children fell unconscious on Monday due to gas leakage in a school in Baghdadi area of Lyari.
According to information gathered from police and rescue workers, the children in the private school fainted due to the gas leakage from generator. The unconscious school children were immediately shifted to the civil hospital.

Hospital authorities said the condition of school children, brought to them, was out of danger as all of them had been given immediate medical assistance.
Meanwhile, Governor Sindh Kamran Tessori took notice of the incident and sought a report from the Commissioner Karachi. He directed to complete immediate medical assistance to the affected children.
