LAHORE: A 12-year-old girl was raped by her cousin in a semi-unconscious state in Nishtar Colony, Punjab’s capital.
According to police, the girl, who came from Faisalabad to Lahore to visit her aunt’s house, was given sleeping pills and abused by her cousin in the absence of family members.
A neighboring woman raised an alarm after witnessing the incident, causing the culprit to flee. The woman informed police, who arrived at the scene and shifted the girl to the hospital in a semi-unconscious state.
After regaining consciousness, the medical report confirmed the abuse. Police arrested the accused, Shoaib, who confessed to the crime, and registered a case.”
