In the past 48 hours, 117 more Pakistanis have been deported from 14 different countries, including the United States, Singapore, Qatar, and Malaysia, as reported by national media.
According to a report by Geo News, citing immigration sources, 54 individuals were deported from Saudi Arabia due to blacklisting, immigration violations, drug-related charges, begging, working without a sponsor, passport loss, absconding from work, contract violations, and having their names listed in the IBMS system.
The report states according to sources that one individual was deported from the US on emergency documents, one from Bangladesh due to blacklisting, one from Singapore due to immigration issues, one from Bahrain after visa cancellation, two from Thailand for working without a work permit, and three from Malaysia after being declared prohibited passengers.
Additionally, 29 Pakistanis were deported from the UAE on charges including imprisonment, absconding, theft, illegal entry, and unauthorized work. One deportee from Iraq was handed over to Larkana police for absconding.
Immigration sources also reported that two Pakistanis were deported from Mauritania for involvement in human trafficking. Many Pakistanis have been deported from various countries on different charges this year, with some being arrested upon arrival in Pakistan.
