The model who is rumoured to be dating Bradley Cooper took to Instagram stories and cautioned those who twist and hide the truth to choose which side of history they’re on wisely.
Hadid, who is of Palestinian descent from her father’s side, has been vocal on social media about her support for Palestinians amid Israel’s siege and bombardment of Gaza, where around 1500 people have been killed in the past week.
For that, the Hadid faced a barrage of death threats and harassment due to their criticism of the Israeli government’s actions amid the ongoing Israeli military offensive in Gaza in October.
As per TMZ, Hadid and her family received death threats via email, social media, and even phone messages after their numbers reportedly were leaked online. Several of her relatives, including sister Bella, brother Anwar, and parents Yolanda and Mohammed, have changed their phone numbers. Hadid’s real-estate tycoon father was said to be considering contacting the FBI.
The ongoing conflict between Israel and Gaza, which escalated with a surprise attack by Hamas on the Gaza-Israel border on October 7, has led to a tragic loss of life on both sides. The death toll has tragically reached 14,800 people, highlighting the urgent need for a worldwide call for an immediate ceasefire in the region.
