Azam Khan’s recent struggles in international cricket have led to speculation about his future in the sport, prompting the Baseball Federation to reach out and offer him an alternative path. However, Azam has yet to respond to the offer.
Pakistan’s defeat to India in their second Group A match has left their qualification for the Super 8s in doubt, placing added pressure on the team. With Azam Khan not featuring in the game against India, it seems unlikely that he will regain his spot in the playing XI.
Pakistan’s upcoming matches against Canada on June 11 in New York and Ireland on June 16 at Lauderhill Stadium in Florida will be crucial as they strive to advance in the tournament.
