NEW YORK: Foreign Minister Bilawal Bhutto Zardari has said that relations between Pakistan and the United States have always been good and therefore it would not be wise to allow the relationship between the two to deteriorate.
Foreign Minister Bilawal Bhutto Zardari in an interview with an American newspaper said that Pakistan and the United States can learn from their past mistakes, and reducing tensions between the two countries is in the best interest of both countries. He said that it would not be wise to allow further deterioration of relations between the two countries.
He said that the way bilateral relations have been in recent years is not in the interest of either the Pakistani people or the American people.
Replying to a question, FM Bilawal Bhutto Zardari said that being part of a coalition government at this time is like being part of a Trump and Clinton family in the United States.
“I believe in evolution rather than revolution. There are many things in common between Pakistan and the United States,” he said.
