Dhaakad is an Indian Hindi language Action-Drama film. Produced by Sohail Maklai, Deepak Mukut, And Kamal Mukut under the banner of Asylum Films, Sohail Maklai Entertainment Pvt Ltd, And Soham Rockstar Entertainment, the movie was released on 20th May 2022 in India.
Discontinued screening
Dhaakad has reportedly been discontinued from being screened across cinemas. The movie was shown at the exit door at theatres in Mumbai within one week of its release.
No watch options
According to reports, The Queen actress’ action film has failed to attract an audience in the theatres. As per sources, Dhaakad was released on May 20 with around 2100 screens. By Sunday, May 22, around 300 screens (have) discontinued (the film), especially the single screens. The screen count was reduced even more from Monday onwards.

Besides Ranaut, the film features Arjun Rampal, Diya Dutta, Saswata Chatterjee, And Sharib Hashmi in the lead roles.
Budget
Directed by Razneesh Ghai, Dhaakad has been made on an overall budget of Rs. 85 crores including promotions and the interest cost due to delay in release due to coronavirus.
Total earning
According to the Indian website, Dhaakad earned Rs. 4,420 on the eighth day of its theatrical release and managed to sell only 20 tickets across the country.
Replaced with Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2
With extremely poor audience count, in many places, several theatres have reportedly replaced Dhakaad with Kartik Aaryan and Kiara Advani’s Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2 within one week of its release.
What went wrong?
There is no doubt Kangana is one of the finest actresses in India, her ‘Queen’ is one fine example. Many social media users think the movie’s script is the reason Ranaut’s Dhaakad’ lost.
