ISLAMABAD: Federal Minister for Science and Technology Fawad Chaudhry has demanded to probe why former premier Nawaz Sharif’s medical reports were not being sent from the United Kingdom.
In a series of tweets, Fawad Chaudhry demanded an inquiry against Nawaz Sharif related to his medical reports.
Chaudhry questioned why Nawaz Sharif’s medical reports were not being sent from the UK where he was getting treatment. It seemed that there was a contract between the medical reports of Lahore and London, he added.
The federal minister further said that that the Punjab government should probe the health department regarding Nawaz’s medical reports.
Moreover, Chaudhry earlier requested the National Assembly to replace Shehbaz Sharif as the opposition leader. He also wrote a letter to the Speaker NA Asad Qaiser to replace the opposition leader from his designation as Shehbaz Sharif had not been attending any parliamentary sessions since November last year.
He further said that either Shehbaz Sharif should be asked the exact date of his arrival or he should be replaced with immediate effect as he informed earlier he would arrive in February then later he extended his arrival to March.
