The establishment of the Economic Advisory Council underscores the government’s commitment to soliciting expert advice and fostering informed decision-making processes in matters of economic significance. It is anticipated that the council will play a pivotal role in shaping the country’s economic trajectory and addressing key challenges facing Pakistan’s economy.
Additionally, the Prime Minister is expected to engage with the Economic Advisory Council on crucial matters such as budgetary allocations, economic reforms, and ongoing negotiations with international financial institutions, including the International Monetary Fund (IMF).
