Meteorologists have shared encouraging news, indicating that winter rains and snowfall are expected to return soon, likely during the third or fourth week of December.
According to reports, most reliable weather models suggest that a series of western disturbances is likely to reach Pakistan, bringing much-needed rainfall and snow after mid-December.
Daily Pakistan quoted weather analyst Jawad Memon, who said that currently, most models agree that between 18 and 20 December 2025, a significant and widespread western disturbance could enter the country.
However, he cautioned that this is a long-term forecast and conditions may change with each passing day.
It is worth noting that since the start of this winter, most updates indicated that due to the La Niña pattern, winter precipitation would remain below average.
However, this pattern is expected to weaken by mid-December, increasing the likelihood of rain and snow in the third or fourth week of the month.
Memon emphasized that this is not a definitive prediction, as ultimately, everything is subject to God’s will. The forecast represents only a potential scenario that may occur in Pakistan in the coming days.
