Dr. Rufina Soomro said that in today’s modern era, while the whole world has advanced and breast cancer is no longer a deadly disease, in Pakistan, many women die of this disease in 24 hours.
He said that women should self-examine to be safe from this disease, for which he also explained the procedure. According to Dr. Rufina Soomro, when you examine yourself every month, you will be well aware of the changes in your body and in this case, timely treatment of the disease will be possible.
Referring to a case, Dr. Rufina Soomro said, “I had a patient who was a doctor by profession, but still she could not know the changes in herself and when she came to me, she was diagnosed with breast cancer.” She was the last stage and when he was asked how he became so careless as a doctor, his father said that it was his fault, he could not bring his daughter to the hospital in time due to the fear of the family members.
In today’s modern era when women are playing their role in every field in the world, we should not put them to death by linking a disease to their role, but we should give them and men full awareness about this disease. So that they can be protected from this disease.
