Pakistan Railways has unveiled plans to operate three special trains for Eid-ul-Adha to cater to the increased demand for travel during the holiday season.
The first special train will commence its journey from Karachi to Lahore, providing a convenient transportation option for passengers between these two major cities. Meanwhile, the second train is scheduled to depart from Karachi, traversing through Faisalabad, Rawalpindi to Peshawar, facilitating travelers heading towards destinations in Punjab and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa. Lastly, the third special train will connect Quetta to Rawalpindi via Lahore, serving as a vital link for commuters traveling between Balochistan and Punjab.
Preparations for these special Eid trains are already underway within the Railway Department, ensuring that passengers have access to reliable and efficient transportation services during the anticipated holiday rush.
In an official statement, Pakistan Railways has announced the schedules for these special Eid trains, set to operate on June 14, 15, and 16 respectively. A railway spokesperson confirmed the details, outlining the departure times and routes for each train.
The first special Eid train will embark on its journey from Karachi to Lahore at 6 PM on June 14. Following this, the second special train will depart from Quetta at 10 AM on June 15, making its way to Rawalpindi via Lahore. Lastly, the third train is scheduled to leave Karachi at 9 PM on June 16, passing through Multan, Lahore and Rawalpindi before reaching Peshawar.
Railway authorities have assured that all necessary arrangements have been made to ensure the smooth operation of these special Eid trains, providing travelers across the country with a safe and comfortable journey during the festive season.
