An American artist has transformed litter collected outside the reported wedding venue of Taylor Swift and NFL star Travis Kelce into a series of unique artworks that quickly sold out among fans.
Artist Justin Gignac donned a tuxedo before collecting discarded items from outside Madison Square Garden in New York following the alleged celebration. He later arranged the items inside transparent, airtight acrylic cubes, turning the debris into collectible art pieces.
The collection included cigarette butts, paper cups, plastic straws, pieces of fabric, plastic bags, candy wrappers, and even a single left AirPod.
On his website, Gignac described the project as a way of preserving a small piece of pop culture history.
“After the party, the floor was covered in trash. This litter was collected from the edge of this love story—the closest I could get to the event without an invitation,” he wrote.
In a post on Instagram, the artist said that his tuxedo led some fans to believe he had attended the wedding as a guest. However, he clarified that all of the items were collected outside the venue on public streets, not from inside the event itself.
The unconventional project quickly attracted attention online, with fans purchasing the limited-edition artworks as unusual memorabilia linked to one of entertainment’s most high-profile celebrity couples.
