ONTARIO: Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau has attended the vigil remembering Canadian Muslim family who got murdered in a horrific act of Islamophobic violence.
While presenting flowers for the martyrs, the Canadian prime minister addressing the condolence ceremony that Islamophobia is a reality we are facing. In his address, Prime Minister Justin Trudeau said, “We will list right-wing extremists as terrorists. We will protect the Muslim community in Canada from the threat of terrorism.”

Earlier, Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau strongly condemned the tragic killing of four members of the same Muslim family and said he would use every weapon to fight Islamophobia.
In a message on the social networking site Twitter yesterday, Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau tweeted “I am saddened to hear the news from London, Ontario. We stand with you.”

Earlier, four members of the same Muslim family were crushed to death after a truck hit them, while a child has been injured. Canadian police have arrested a 20-year-old man on charges of four murders and one count of one attempted murder.
Hate crimes against Muslims in Canada grew 253 percent between 2012 and 2015. The 2017 terror attack in a mosque in Québec left six men dead after offering their evening prayers. Last year, a caretaker in a Toronto mosque was stabbed and killed and the person charged with his murder is alleged to have been influenced by neo-Nazi social media posts.
