25 goats brought to Karachi for sacrificial sale were stolen from Gulistan-e-Johar, it emerged on Sunday.
According to details, the incident occurred in Block 8 of Gulistan-e-Johar within the limits of Malir Cantt police station during the night between Friday and Saturday.
Authorities said unidentified suspects, allegedly arriving on motorcycles and in a car, loaded the animals onto a Suzuki pickup before escaping from the area.

The owner, Muhammad Osama Khan, said that the stolen goats were valued at more than Rs1.9 million and had been transported to Karachi for Eidul Adha trading.
Following the incident, a case was registered at Malir Cantt police station, and investigators launched an inquiry into the theft.
Police officials confirmed that CCTV footage showing the suspects has been collected and is being reviewed to help identify and arrest those involved.
As Eidul Adha approaches, reports of livestock theft have started surfacing in different parts of Karachi, raising concerns among traders and animal sellers.
