LONDON: Former Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) chief executive Wasim Khan has been elected the new general manager of the International Cricket Council (ICC).
According to the ICC, former PCB chief executive Wasim Khan has been selected to replace Jeffrey Aldridge in the ICC and will take up his post next month. Wasim Khan in this regard said that it is an honor to join the ICC.
Aldridge, the current General Manager of ICC, congratulated Wasim Khan on his election and said that he hopes that Wasim Khan will work tirelessly for the organization and will play an important role in taking the organization to the heights of fame with his experience, he said.

It is to be noted that Rameez Raja was made chairman of PCB after coming to the PTI government, after which Wasim Khan resigned from the post.
