ISLAMABAD: An operation has been launched against the PTI members to vacate the parliament lodges in the federal capital.
According to the details, the Capital Development Authority (CDA) staff has evacuated the house of the arrested leader of Tehreek-e-Insaf Aliya Hamza Malik and her family members.
PTI leader Alia Hamza is in jail while CDA prepared a list of belongings of Alia Hamza’s house. Some media reports claimed that Alia Hamza’s lodge has been vacated on the instructions of Speaker Raja Pervez Ashraf.
Earlier, notices were issued to several Tehreek-e-Insaf MLAs to vacate their lodges, but PTI members did not vacate their lodges. Alia Hamza’s residence was allotted to another member.
Meanwhile, Islamabad police also allegedly raided PTI leader Zulfi Bukhari’s house late at night. Zulfi Bukhari said that the police have sealed his house while the employees and pets have also been expelled from the house.
Tehreek-e-Insaf senator Dr. Zarqa said that the police raided her clinics in Lahore and sealed both clinics, however, the spokesperson of the Punjab Healthcare Commission said that Dr. Zarqa’s claim is contrary to facts.
