Karachi’s Additional District and Sessions Court acquitted gang war accused Uzair Baloch in a case involving the murders of three people, including a police officer. The case was registered in 2009 at the Chakiwara police station.
The court delivered its verdict, dismissing the charges against Baloch. The defense lawyer argued that Uzair Baloch was included in the case based on statements from the arrested suspects, and the other arrested suspects in the case had already been acquitted.
Subsequently, the court acquitted Uzair Baloch in the case.
Uzair Baloch was once seen as one of the most feared criminals in Karachi, notorious for his involvement in gang wars, murders, and extortion activities. He was considered the leader of a powerful criminal group that operated in Karachi, often engaging in violent confrontations with rival gangs.
The police and government labeled him as a central figure in the rise of organized crime in the city. Baloch’s criminal network was linked to various illegal activities, including drug trafficking, land grabbing, and even targeted killings of political figures, police officers, and civilians.
His influence extended beyond the streets, allegedly having connections with political figures and law enforcement, making it difficult for authorities to take action against him.
