MIR ALI: At least three security personnel lost their lives and more than 20 other injured in what has been reported as suicide attack on a convoy of vehicle in Northern Waziristan the other day.
According to reports gathered from multiple local sources, the incident took place at Khajori Chowk in Mir Ali Khan near the Pak-Afghan border when a suicide bomber riding a tri-wheeler laden with explosive material hit the vehicle of security forces that was escorting employees of a petroleum company. At least three officials were killed and 22 others injured,” the police added.

The police said that the suicide attack was carried out on two vehicles carrying officials of Mari Petroleum Company. At least seven Frontier Constabulary personnel and 15 petroleum company personnel were injured in the suicide attack.
The employees of the petroleum company were on their way back to their resting place under security after duty hours when the bomber ambushed the vehicles.
