The Saudi Arabian Ministry of Hajj and Umrah has unveiled the official calendar for the upcoming Umrah season of 2025-26 (1447 Hijri), outlining key dates and procedural needs for foreign pilgrims.
According to the Saudi Ministry, foreign pilgrims can start performing Umrah from June 11, 2025. The issuance of visas will start a day earlier, i.e., June 10, 2025 (14 Dhul Hijjah 1446). All the contractual arrangements between foreign agents and Umrah service providers in the Kingdom should be completed on or before May 27, 2025 (29 Dhul Qadah 1446).
The official signing process of service contracts commenced on April 14, 2025, at the Hajj and Umrah Services Forum. The forum brought together international stakeholders to allow for planning and coordination ahead of the next season.
Multiple crucial deadlines have been set by the Ministry as well. The deadline for the issuing of Umrah visas is the last date to be March 20, 2026 (1 Shawwal 1447). Pilgrims are supposed to arrive at the Kingdom latest by April 3, 2026 (15 Shawwal 1447), and depart latest by April 18, 2026 (1 Dhul Qadah 1447).
Also, January 20, 2026 (1 Sha’ban 1447) is the due date for foreign agents to complete their required accreditation process and seal agreements with accredited Saudi Umrah providers.
