In a significant development, the UK Home Department has revoked the visa of Pakistani vlogger and social media personality Rajab Butt (which was valid until 2027) citing incomplete documentation in his visa application.
As a result of this violation of immigration rules, Butt was immediately deported, arriving in Pakistan on a special flight this morning, December 9.

Visa Cancellation and Deportation
The action was taken under strict British immigration laws concerning visa violations. Rajab Butt landed in Pakistan earlier today, confirming the swift enforcement action by UK authorities.
Rajab Butt had reportedly left Pakistan in July 2025, initially moving to Dubai before settling in the UK. His departure was linked to ongoing controversies in Pakistan, including allegations related to blasphemy, betting apps, and pending legal cases.
While in the UK, he continued his vlogging activity, with his videos in November 2025 serving as the last confirmation of his presence there. However, the violation of his visa terms, specifically the lack of required documents, led to his deportation.
Impact of Return
Rajab Butt’s forced return places him back in Pakistan, where he faces pending legal proceedings. He may be subject to immediate arrest or other legal action related to the prior controversies.
As of now, there has been no update on his YouTube channel, which boasts over 8 million subscribers, but the news has rapidly gone viral across social media platforms.
Protective bail
YouTuber Rajab Butt was granted protective bail from the Islamabad High Court (IHC) after his visa was cancelled in UK.
On Tuesday, December 9, the court ruled that authorities cannot arrest Butt upon his arrival at Islamabad Airport on Wednesday. The court has directed Rajat Butt to personally appear before the court tomorrow.
