Two sisters raped in Lahore

Police in Lahore have arrested three men accused of sexually assaulting two sisters in the South Cantonment area of the city.

The case was registered on the complaint of the girls’ mother. According to her statement, the suspects allegedly took the two sisters from their home under the pretext of introducing them to a prospective marriage proposal.

The FIR states that the accused — identified as Jan Muhammad, Bilal and Khurram — allegedly administered an intoxicating substance before assaulting the victims.

The suspects are also accused of recording a video of the assault and threatening the girls to remain silent.

Police confirmed that a case has been registered and the suspects involved in the incident have been taken into custody.
