The Pakistan Cricket Board on Sunday unveiled a revamped schedule for the 11th season of the Pakistan Super League, confirming that matches will be played behind closed doors as part of the government’s austerity drive.
Under the revised plan, the tournament footprint has been scaled back, with fixtures limited to just two venues, Karachi and Lahore, instead of the originally planned six cities, in line with national cost-saving measures.
The competition will feature 44 matches across 39 days, evenly split between the two host cities. The opening clash between Hyderabad Kingsmen and Lahore Qalandars will proceed as scheduled.

For the knockout stage, Lahore is set to host Eliminator 1, Eliminator 2, and the final, while the Qualifier will be staged in Karachi.
With fans unable to attend in person, organizers say upgraded broadcast and production elements will be introduced to enhance the viewing experience for audiences tuning in from home in Pakistan and abroad.
