A disturbing incident of alleged gang rape, robbery and assault against a transgender person has been reported in Karachi. The victim has claimed that seven individuals sexually assaulted her.
In a video statement circulating on social media, the victim said she had gone to attend a family function in the Raees Amrohi Colony area, where she was allegedly abducted by a group of men. According to her account, she was taken to a warehouse located in Faqeer Colony within the jurisdiction of Iqbal Market Police Station, where she was confined and subjected to sexual violence.
The victim further alleged that she was physically assaulted, videos of the incident were recorded, and her belongings, including a gold chain and cash, were taken.
She also claimed that she has not received adequate support and that even members of the transgender community have not come to her aid.

The transgender person stated that she is in contact with prominent transgender rights activist Shehzadi Rai and has appealed to authorities for immediate justice, adding that she can identify the suspects and wants them arrested.
The victim warned that if action is not taken, she may stage a protest outside the Karachi Press Club or be forced to take extreme steps.
