With the introduction of complimentary services for passengers on trains running between Lahore and Rawalpindi, fares have been increased.
According to details, new complimentary services now include snacks and tea during the journey. Passengers will also be offered items such as burgers, sandwiches, patties, chips, cakes, and juices.
As a result of these added amenities, fares for all AC and economy classes on the Pindi Rail Car, Sabuk Kharam, and Sabuk Raftar have been raised. The increase ranges from Rs 150 to Rs 250.
The revised fares are as follows:
- AC Parlor: Rs 2,500
- AC Business: Rs 2,250
- AC Standard: Rs 2,100
- Economy Class: Rs 1,300
Over three thousand rail passengers are travelling between Lahore and Rawalpindi every day.
