Pakistani TikTok star Imsha Rehman has deactivated her social media accounts after her private videos surfaced online.
Earlier, Imsha became the latest victim to a data breach, leading to the unauthorized distribution of her personal videos on platforms like WhatsApp, X (formerly Twitter), and Instagram.
The leaked videos, which reportedly showed Rehman in a personal moment with a friend, quickly went viral and sparked significant backlash.
In response to the intense public scrutiny, Rehman disabled her accounts and issued a brief statement, acknowledging the emotional toll of the situation. “The backlash has been overwhelming,” she said, highlighting the pressures of maintaining a public profile amid such a controversy.
This marks the second recent incident involving a Pakistani influencer’s private videos being leaked, following a similar case involving TikTok personality Minahil Malik.
The situation has raised renewed concerns about cyberbullying and data privacy. While some called for greater empathy and discretion in handling such matters, others criticized those who continued to share and ridicule the content online.
