QUETTA: At least three people, including a woman and a child, sustained burn injuries in a house after a gas leakage explosion in Quetta on Monday.
According to police, the incident took place in Shehbaz Chowk of Quetta where three people including a woman and child sustained burn injuries.
It further stated that the explosion occurred in the house due to gas leakage. Soon after the incident, firefighters and rescue1122 doused the fire and shifted the injured to a nearby hospital.
In another road mishap in Quetta, a man identified as Muhammad Khan resident of Panjgur died in a collision between a tractor and a vehicle on National Highway near the Shahoo Garahi area of Washuk district.
Meanwhile, the district administration raided a factory in the Chmakani area and recovered 25 sacks of fake tea leaves.
During the raid chemicals and other materials used in the production of forged tea were also taken into custody. Police said two people including the owner of the factory were arrested and shifted to the police station for a probe.
