An FIR has been lodged against three men in India for killing a Labrador dog by thrashing him mercilessly continuously in a viral video.
The incident took place in Kerela in Vizhinjam of Thiruvananthapuram where a man named Christuraj, who is the owner of the dog had posted the visuals of the accused assaulting the dog on social media.

As per the police, Sunil, Sylvester, and a minor from Adimalathura of Thiruvananthapuram on 28th June tied a seven-year-old dog-year-old Labrador dog by a fish hook to a boat and started thrashing until beaten to death. The accused and the owner of the dog, Christuraj, are neighbors and have some issues between them which led to the attack on the dog.

According to the owner, the seven-year-old dog, Bruno, was lovable and usually went to the nearby beach to play and had rested near the boat. Due to the issues, the accused had earlier threatened Christuraj and his family.
Things went out of the hands when the accused had assaulted his family members before committing a heinous crime. On 28th June, when Bruno went to the beach to play and rested under the boat for a while, the accused caught the dog and tied it with a fish hook.
Sunil, Sylvester, and a minor started beating the dog until it succumbed to death and then threw the body into the sea. The entire incident was captured in a video that went viral in the internet and caused a severe outrage on the social media.
