KARACHI: An auto-rickshaw driver in Karachi is offering free transport facilities to poor and needy patients with a spirit of serving others.
Pakistan is one of the most charitable countries in the world and Karachi tops the list. A large number of people in the metropolis donate enormous amounts of money to various NGOs for helping deserving segments of the society.
However, today we will introduce you to a rickshaw driver who for the sake of Allah, takes poor and deserving patients to the hospitals for free and does not even charge for it.
Speaking to MM News, the rickshaw driver, Nadeem Hussain said that it happened with him in the summer days that a weak and old couple was standing in the scorching sun and they did not have money for the ride.
Nadeem describing the story further said, “I took them to their destination and also gave them cold water. I did all this for the sake of Allah. After that I realized that in any case, I have to help others,” he added.
Describing another story Nadeem said, “Once I had taken a ride in the meantime I got an emergency call that from a patient who wanted to go a hospital. I apologized for my ride and took the patient to the hospital and also got the medicine from him,” he added.
Nadeem said that when Allah Almighty takes some work from you, your pocket also gets better. “Allah Almighty rewards me for doing this good deed in the form of rides, I get good rides,” he said.
The rickshaw driver said that he has four children and lived in a rental house, despite everything is going well. “I have no greed for anything. Eating three meals a day is enough for me and my family,” Nadeem said.
Nadeem Hussain complained that the roads in Karachi are very bad and his rickshaw is old which causes trouble. If the government gives him some money as a loan, he can get a new rickshaw and do his job in a better way.
In the end, Nadeem Hussain said that if you do something sincerely for the sake of Allah, then it includes the help of Allah. Nadeem Hussain urged that other people should also do it with the spirit of serving others. Get started. God will surely help them, he said.
